Sikhona is a gender-based violence recovery center wherein at-risk women and children are provided food, shelter, healthcare, legal representation and education.

They do so by ensuring children will be nurtured and empowered through primary school at Rehoboth Learning Center while at-risk women will be employed and educated through poultry farming and organic agriculture.

Embracing their cornerstone value of inclusion – across cultures, gender, class, sexuality and religion – they  believe in recognizing the precious and interconnected nature of all human-life. No matter what your background or identity, you exist. You take up space. You matter.
