Who We Are

Tapona is a venture-building organization that empowers the next generation of entrepreneurs to build impact-driven innovations and scalable ventures. Tapona exists to inspire and unlock the full potential of ambitious entrepreneurs.
We believe in the power of entrepreneurship to tackle global challenges, create jobs and spur economic growth and transform communities. In order to accelerate thriving communities, we support a market-driven model and pre-seed ventures with bold programs that close gaps in business knowledge, networks, and pathways to unlock the business potential to create impact. Tapona Foundation is a non-profit organization, based in Nairobi, Kenya, guiding and supporting entrepreneurs to co-create a more equitable and sustainable future.

We are an organization made up of diverse entrepreneurs and leaders who believe the Entrepreneurship Development agenda in a thriving ecosystem can transform lives and African communities.

We Inspire

The biggest opportunity to address unemployment, inequality, and poverty is through Entrepreneurship to increase income and create jobs. We engage entrepreneurs who have the potential to transform their communities, industries, and even countries into thriving communities.

We Empower

Our key inputs are business knowledge, advisory support, network, and access to financial resources to grow early-stage businesses. With customized services from mentorship, expert sessions, leadership, and support systems.

We Connect

We create opportunities for early-stage entrepreneurs by building collaboration with other organizations, higher education institutions, corporations, and public agencies to build an ecosystem of support.
